Nyarai’s emerging training programmes in housekeeping and home-based care, including modules on childcare, hygiene, nutrition, and professional conduct, provide a scalable model for strengthening the informal care workforce—a segment often overlooked in formal ECED systems. This positions the organization to offer valuable insights into how home-based caregivers can be upskilled and integrated into broader early childhood development strategies, particularly in urban and peri-urban African contexts.
