Sugira Muryango (Family Strengthening Intervention), a home-visiting family coaching in Rwanda that aims at ending violence and hardship in families and promote child development in Rwanda.

The Sugira Muryango is a home-visiting intervention in Rwanda aimed at enhancing early childhood development and reducing family violence among vulnerable households. Implemented by community-based coaches, the program focuses on responsive caregiving, father engagement, and positive parenting. Evaluations indicate improvements in parent-child interactions, nutrition, hygiene, and reductions in intimate partner violence and caregiver mental health issues. The initiative is integrated with Rwanda's social protection system and is being scaled through a digital tool to support broader implementation and sustainability.
